13 Things I Love About My Daughter

Today is my daughter's fourth birthday. So in honor I compose this list.

1. Her first word was "pink." Not making that up.

2. Instead of ever throwing tantrums to get what she wants she just puts on the cute.

3. She's an artiste. She works so hard on her art projects.

4. She's unfailing kind to everyone.

5. She asks questions we know are some day going to torture her husband. "I love you daddy. Do you love me? How much do you love me daddy?"

6. She insists upon choosing her own outfits and dressing herself even though she has...interesting fashion sense.

7. She loves doll houses. I always loved doll houses too.

8. She's funny. She makes jokes all the time. Even if they are knock knock jokes that don't actually make sense.

9. She has a natural instinct for making everyone feel like they're her favorite.

10. She laughs like a fairy or an angel. You've never heard anything like it.

11. She wants to save the world, starting with the animals.

12. She's a little mother. Even to people who are older than her.

13. She's just full of life. Sometimes I wish I could still be that energetic and full of zest.

Happy birthday E!!
